BLLING-SLP offers a variety of professional development trainings and workshops. Cultural-relevant resources and practices, research-based teaching strategies, and bilingual instructional approaches are the foci of most programs requested by staff and faculty in early intervention settings and schools.

Lovin’ Lit workshops are learn and share sessions in which children and teachers are exposed to strategies to help: (a) Center all languages (b) Integrate the “pedagogies of the home” and cultural funds of knowledge into literacy learning, or (c) Create a need for the continued learning and use of the home language.
